WHO IS STORM?

Nicknames are a funny thing.  I never asked for mine, and if I did, it probably would have been something along the lines of “T-Bone” or “Gazoo.”  I would have been more than happy to have carried on as a simple, nickname-less writer.  Alas, fate had something else in store.

After forging an instant and eternal friendship with an enigmatic man known as “Rocket,” and after a wild night at a country bar, I was suddenly and permanently dubbed “Storm.”

Sure, it’s likely Rocket’s muse may have been one too many bottles of beer, but I’ll be damned if that prophetic rapscallion didn’t alter my life’s trajectory with his penchant for immutable monikers.

And so Storm was born, and henceforth, this blog.
