I’ve seen a lot of movie trailers in my time. I’ll never forget the thrill I received the first time I heard Heath Ledger’s creepy Joker voice over during the first teaser trailer for The Dark Knight.
I also can’t erase the revulsion I felt when I was stuck in a movie theater and forced to watch a full length trailer for Adam Sandler’s Jack & Jill.
I’d rather feed my genitals to wolves than watch this shit.
However, the new trailer for the 1987 film Miami Connection (which is being re-released this fall by Drafthouse Films), is the stuff of legend.
Cut together by grindhouse filmmaker Jason Eisner (Hobo With A Shotgun), the trailer teases everything you could ever want to see in a film: mullets, mustaches, machine guns, motorcycle riding ninjas, decapitations and a taekwondo-trained 80′s new wave rock band that decides to wage war on drug dealers.
It also stars this guy, who plays in a band called “Dragon Sound.”
Behold the awesomeness below:

Cannot wait.
Drug dealing ninjas battle a martial arts rock band, set and made in 1987? Sold.
It’s cinematic gold! I say we organize a screening!
